Gingerberry Peach

Yields1 Serving

 1 cup ice
 1 ½ cups water
 2 ginger peach tea bags
 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
 1 cup frozen peaches
 1 cup frozen blackberries
 1 ¼ tsp powdered ginger (or 1/8 tsp fresh grated ginger root)

Boil water + brew tea bags. Let steep a minimum of 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bags and squeeze out all the peachy goodness. Allow tea to cool a bit.

Add tea and ice to the shaker bottle. Shake and shake until ice is melted. There will be a frothy foam on top. Add heaping scoop of protein powder, then shake and shake until well blended (if using powdered ginger add it here). Allow to rest for 3 minutes then shake and shake again.

Pour mixture into blending cup + add peaches and blackberries blending after each addition (if using fresh ginger add it here). Pour into a lovely glass and enjoy!

Alteration: Freeze unused portions in freezer bag (spreading in bag as thin as you can). Pull it out later and re-blend for a frozen treat!
