As a yoga therapist I was taught to follow a medical format when gathering information from my clients, and for a while, that’s exactly what I did.


But, to be honest, it wasn’t working very well.


While the information I gathered was extremely useful, it took a long time to review, and wasn’t in a format that matched the way I work.


This left me with a-whole-lotta-questions.


Which meant I spent much of the first in-person session asking more questions to fill in the gaps.


You know what else?


Filling out forms… is kind of a snore.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

So, I set out to create a better intake form.


I wanted something that would give me a pretty-clear-picture of what types of practices would benefit my clients most, and…


I wanted the process of filling out the form to be more, well…. fun!


Now I spend less time asking questions and more time giving my clients what they need.

Plus. No more snoring. (hoo-ray!)

This class was designed for yoga teachers and yoga therapists, but the process could be easily adapted for other modalities.


We’ll explore:

– Covering your bases- the 5 things every intake form should have.

– Checking for vitals- how to make sure you’ve got the most critical information to work safely and effectively.

– What makes you tick- understanding your own strengths and how to use them to your advantage.

– The art of creative questioning- how asking questions and getting answers can be super simple, and pretty-darn-fun.

– Plus a wee bit about branding + adding some personal pizazz.


You’ll leave class with with a better understanding of what YOU need to know in order to do your best work, and the skills to create a fun + powerful information gathering intake form.
